Member of Technical Staff, Tech Lead

• Build and deploy Sherpa’s enterprise knowledge agents into the world’s leading consulting firms.
• Own key components of our AI stack, from semantic search and tagging pipelines to backend orchestration, multi-modal vector stores, and document generation workflows.
• Design systems to test and improve semantic search, embeddings, and prompts, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Optimise vector databases to deliver high-speed, scalable retrieval and search capabilities.
• Collaborate directly with users to understand their challenges and create AI-driven solutions tailored to their needs.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, domain experts, designers, and marketers to create a cutting-edge product.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrated leadership on complex technical projects.
• Strong command of modern full-stack frameworks—especially Python FastAPI, Typescript, React, NextJS, and SQLAlchemy.
• Track record of shipping scalable systems in high-growth or startup environments.
• Strategic thinker who can balance speed and quality while driving technical vision.
• Bonus: experience with LLMs, agent orchestration frameworks, or AI infrastructure.
